The Fred Family: The Wedding

Well, the Frederiksens made it to Austin and back. It was a great trip. Owen hadn't left Ames until a couple weeks ago and now he has flown to Texas! He was a champ. Slept through almost all the plane rides which means he hardly made a peep...lucky for us! We weren't those people with a crying baby on plane that everybody glares at! Whew! The wedding was great. Awesome people, delicious food, fantastic party! We got to Austin on Friday afternoon and hung out with family until the rehearsal and dinner that night at a restaurant overlooking Lake Travis. Saturday was a free day. We ended up making a trip to Walmart to exchange diapers. We needed ones that could hold everything Owen produced. He had his first blow out at the restaurant Friday night. The bathroom had no changing station and I had no extra clothes so he wore his swaddle for the remainder of the night! Luckily the weather was fabulous! 80s!!! Sunday was the big wedding day! Owen and I hung out in the room until pictures. He started getting fussy before the ceremony so we headed to "super" Nana and Papa's room to watch from their balcony. The upside is I got some great pictures from a great vantage point! The reception was fun and had a great view of the lake! The food was amazing! Travis and Chelsie were so happy and it was fun to see them let loose! There was a photo booth and a ton of props which made for some entertaining and unexpected pictures! We had an amazing time and so worth the trip!
