Babies R' Overwhelming
Tyler and I just attempted to register at Babies R' Us for the shower and that was completely overwhelming! It ended with both of us rushing through because we were hungry and grumpy! I have a feeling we will have to go back.

| One of the perks of this game is that Josh Duhamel was the honorary Viking! (You will need to look closely but he is in the white hat!) |
25 Weeks
Yes I realize the board says I'm 24 weeks but I was technically 25 weeks when the picture was taken hence the title of the post! Baby Fred is still being pretty active and it's usually towards the end of the day! (He was going nuts at the races...I think it was the noise and the vibrations!) I can still get by with some of my normal pants (and a hair tie!) but I am mostly wearing maternity pants now. They are so much more comfortable! I can still get away with most of my normal shirts, but they definately fit differently! Lol! Everything continues to go well in the pregnancy for both mommy and baby...please pray it continues to go this way! Thanks so much for all your thoughts and prayers! We love you all!

Gentlemen, start your engines!
Victory Lane!
Tyler got some free tickets to the Iowa Speedway Nascar truck series race through Sherwin-Williams. So Tyler, John, Linda and I headed over to Newton on Saturday afternoon. I wasn't sure if I was excited for the race or not! It was not nearly as bad as I was anticipating! It was kinda fun but very loud!

21 Weeks
I can't believe it but we are over the halfway point of the pregnancy! We are at 21 weeks. The most exciting new thing is I can feel the little guy move! He is pretty active too! It makes me feel even more connected to him and it is a reassurance to know he is doing well in there. The nursery is starting to come together. The crib is supposed to be delivered tomorrow so stay tuned for pictures of the progress!

Cruel and Unusual Punishment
Anyone that has had an ultrasound knows you are required to have a full bladder. I took this very literally because I wanted to see the baby. I drank plenty of water and didn't allow myself to pee before the appointment. After we arrived, they forced us (Tyler, Ty's mom, Ty's dad, my dad, my stepmom, and myself) to wait. As we were (patiently) waiting, my bladder continued to get more and more full. I was now afraid if I moved the wrong way I would wet my pants. I asked the receptionist how much longer the wait would be and informed her of just how uncomfortable I was. She told me that I could go to the bathroom if I only peed a little. I promised her I would and walked/ran to the bathroom. Once I sat down and let go...I couldn't stop! Oh no! I definately didn't go just a little! I was going to be so mad if I messed up the ultrasound so once I left the bathroom, I immediately went straight to the drinking fountain and started chugging more water! Tyler and I finally got called back into the ultrasound room where there was more waiting (only now I had my pants off so should I wet myself it is no longer myself but the chair I'm wetting! Oh geez!) Tyler told me to not think about it but I had to! Once we started the ultrasound, I was excited and distracted, but shortly my urges were starting to make themselves known again! I informed the nurse that I was very uncomfortable and she was nice enough to let me go to the bathroom (again!) I have learned my lesson and I now know that I, personally, don't need to drink quite as much water as they recommend! Definately cruel and unusual punishment to force a pregnant woman to drink lots of water and then attempt to hold it!
