Sold

We sold our house! We had our house listed "For Sale by Owner" and had a contract with an older couple but they financing contingencies. Well they couldn't secure a loan so we decided to skip a lot of the hassle and list with a realtor. We found out the couple couldn't get the loan Monday night...had the realtor come through Wednesday morning...on MLS Thursday...two groups through to look at it on Friday and by Friday night, we had two offers!! We accepted and signed papers on Saturday morning!! Tyler and I celebrated our 5-year wedding anniversary on Friday...selling the house was a great gift from God!! Closing date is set for July 26th...Story City here we come!

Owen and I were invited to go "swimming" for the first time on Tuesday so we joined my friend Allison and her kids in their backyard kiddie pool! It was fun and we had a great time!

A Mother's Day Haircut Dedicated to the Lord

Well Sunday was a very busy day for the Frederiksens. We dedicated Owen to the Lord at church. Which means we vowed to raise Owen to know and love Jesus, and we understand that as his parents we are the first example he will see of Christ followers. It is a big responsibility but one we happily accept and on God's guidance will we rely! Then we celebrated my first Mother's Day. (Last year on Mother's Day is when I peed on a stick and we found out we were pregnant!) Owen got me a card and a massage (so excited!) We got to celebrate with both of our mothers as well! Lastly, we cut Owen's mullet (sigh). This was kinda hard for me but now I realize he looks so much better! Whew...busy day!

Taylor's Graduation Open House

 My sister Taylor will be graduating high school this coming weekend but hosted her open house last weekend! She had a blast and enjoyed greeting everyone with a hug! She had a huge smile all day! Justin Beiber even made a surprise appearance! Well a life-sized cutout of Taylor's favorite singer/hottie made an appearance (but it looks real in the pictures!) We are so proud of Taylor...good job lady!

So Little Time

Wow! So much has happened in the last few weeks but I just haven't had enough time to update the blog...so get ready for new post overload! But first things first, I was just giving Owen a bath when he discovered a new appendage and was grabbing at his penis! Oh boy (pun intended!)
