16 Weeks

The Frederiksens were cheering for the Cyclones during Saturday's Iowa vs. Iowa State football game, but, unfortunately it wasn't enough to secure a victory! Here is a picture of all of us in our Iowa State gear! I love this picture! Owen looks much older than his almost 8 months!

14 Weeks

Well I am officially 14 weeks (actually almost 15 weeks!) I had a doctor's appointment today where they tested my blood sugar early because I had gestational diabetes with Owen and...I have diabetes with Baby #2 also! Womp womp! I am trying to maintain a good attitude because I have been through it already and Owen turned out pretty great! I just keep telling myself, "It is good for you, Megan!", "It's only temporary, Megan!", "You can do it, Megan!"...stuff like that! (Just took a break to test my blood sugar! Luckily I was writing about my diabetes or I would have forgotten! Lol! Gotta get back in the routine of that!) Yeah, I can do it and it is worth it! It's Hot and Dry!

Meeting Cousin Cora

Tyler's cousin, Mike, and his wife, Julia, had their first baby in June. All three of them made a trip back to Iowa over Labor Day weekend to visit. They got to meet Owen for the first time and we got to meet Cora Joy. She was a joy! What a happy, smiley baby! She is adorable! Lots of Tyler's family was able to make it to our house for lunch so everyone could meet Cora and catch up with each other. Here are some pics from that day!
